This series offers a variety of daytime and overnight races for blind and visually impaired sailors. In the past, some have been done fully crewed, some with just 2 VI sailors and a sighted guide, and one singlehanded where the sighted guide touched nothing.
Crews will be formed to give people the best match to their own goals. If you don't yet have any experience, we'll ensure you are teamed up with the right mix of people that you can focus on learning the basic skills you'd most like to learn. By the same token, if you have a good amount of experience and want to lead the team, we'll put together the team to provide the opportunity.
Each event will be accompanied by a volunteer sighted guide with ocean racing experience, a captain's license and safety at sea training.
